Amanda Casarez, a DC and STL based designer, with a BS from University of Hawaii in Fashion Design and Merchandising. She is an alum of the inaugural class for DC Fashion Incubator at Macy’s at Metro Center, she established her DC based brand as designer-in-residence. With continued involvement with DCFI and in partnership with Macy’s and the Red Heart Association, she dressed Veronica Webb for the Red Dress Collection in NYFW. She is also currently selling her capsule collection at Macy’s in Las Vegas Fashion Mall.

Her Fall/Winter ’19 collection has been named Self Destruct. It is a continuation of Spring/Summer ’19, Perfect Chaos. The inspiration is high fashion meets 90’s grunge. The design process for this collection included the development of hand-knit pieces and custom made fabrics. The custom made fabrics will be a collaboration between the brand and a local artists.
